Caroline Biggs
Caroline is a Senior Associate of FundAssist and a Senior Associate of SRA Consulting.
She has extensive experience in natural resource management, group facilitation, reference and training manual design and delivery, decision support tool design, funding applications and research.
Caroline has a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Biology Hons) from Oxford Brookes University (UK), a Graduate Diploma in Rural Systems Management from the University of Queensland and a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
Based in Katherine in the Northern Territory, Caroline has experience working with a diverse range of individuals and groups. She has also worked on several environmental and community projects in Zimbabwe.
Prior to moving to Katherine, Caroline spent seven years in Toowoomba as an Environmental Extension Officer with the Queensland Department of Primary Industries & Fisheries (DPI&F) supporting sustainable farming systems through the promotion of sound environmental management practices and continuous improvement and innovation through the uptake of new technology and best management practice. Her role included the provision of statewide technical advice, development and implementation of adult learning based workshop training packages and statewide promotional activities including media applications, conferences, funding opportunities and financial incentive applications.
Caroline has worked closely with many groups and organisations, including shire councils, state government departments, universities, recreational bodies, industry bodies, catchment groups, primary producer groups and Landcare. |
